Welcome to Design_Netwerk (*DN*), an online database featuring a
personalized collection of
graphic-design resources currently available
on the internet. Listed resources include organizations that specialize
in various types of graphic design, including website design, multimedia
design, digital design, and many more. *DN* also offers choice selections
involving print
and deco design (analog design), design forums
and galleries
(collectives), as well as logo and marketing design
(identity design). Further, *DN* also features street-related design
sites, design-related employment sites, and even sites that are
so bloody awful that you should avoid them altogether...
There are several methods of searching the *DN* database: by subject,
alphabetically, or via term(s) search. Whenever possible, website
descriptions feature either quoted or paraphrased material from the
website itself. However, many websites warrant additional quasi-objectional
information in order to accurately convey the perceived essence and
relevancy of the graphic design entity in question. Again, the purpose of
*DN* is to serve as a guide
to help you find graphic design resources
that suit your specific design needs...

A word on categorization...
Although great care has been taken to organize the database in logical
fashion, many listings have been necessarily categorized arbitrarily.
For example, design organizations that specialize in a multitude of graphic-
design services, say, have been categorically listed as "graphic design",
which is to suggest that many different aspects of graphic design are
somehow represented by each of the organizations within this category.
Whenever possible, however, a primary design specialty is discerned and
issued as the organizational category. For example, a design company
may offer services that include website design, logo design, and digital
design, yet present a website that features primarily logo design content.
Thus, such sites are categorized according to the predominant type of
graphic design material. Nonetheless, regardless of how the information is
organized, please remember that *DN* provides multiple ways to navigate
the *DN* database: categorically, alphabetically, or via term(s) search.
-- So if you don't find it one way, please try another...
